BGS New Zealand is pleased to announce a new partnership with Donaldson Brown (DB). In a world that has undergone significant change since the start of COVID-19, relationships and trust have become of utmost importance.

As BGS NZ continues to build new partnerships throughout New Zealand, we are looking for organisations who we can both build long-term and trusting relationships with. Having this in mind, we believe Donaldson Brown is a perfect match.

Here is what you get as a BGS NZ member:

**DB will commit to negotiating a 10% discount on new Life & Disability Insurance policies with the most suitable insurer.

**You will be managed and looked after by one of your own. Cory has been a BGS member for several years now and is wanting to give back to the society.

**DB will provide a no-obligation, free review of your existing policies.

**Alternatively, this could lead to Cory finding a package that is more suited to you and your situation. It is a win-win.

Should you have any questions regarding Life Insurance, contact Cory at cory@dbib.co.nz. If you have other insurance needs, let Cory know, and he will connect you with the right person at DB as they do it all.

BNAU Webinar Series: Pivoting Business and Brand from Business Co-Design on Vimeo

13/7/2020

A big thanks to Sydney University for inviting BGS NZ members to the Pivoting Business and Brand webinar last Wednesday.

We were able to watch Brian Walker, CEO and Founder, Retail Doctor Group, and Dr. Michelle Kam, Partner, Strategy, share their insights on the challenges and opportunities facing organisations responding to the changing needs of customers and markets. The discussion was led by Dr Sandra Peter, Director, Sydney Business Insights.

Some key takeaways from the session were:

***Online retail was not an economically profitable option for many stores, now it is not only profitable but may be necessary to survive and they need to demonstrate their UVP.

***As organisations adjust their business models to meet market changes, it's essential they take their employees on the journey. This includes up-skilling and partnering to utilise staff that need to be redeployed.

***Consumers have built trust in online stores and many will continue to shop online. The main exception being for large purchases and financial decisions where face to face discussions and advice are still an important part of the process.

For those who were not able to join the discussion, please find a recording of the webinar below:
